(peep the back truck attached the wrong way)<\/p>\n<p>When the it gets hot, carrying a bag on your back becomes really annoying, so it\u2019s common to attach a basket to your bike and having one is handy for more than just carrying your skateboard.<\/p>\n<p>As far as carrying a skateboard goes, it&#8217;s easy to load and unload the board and you could put your bag in the basket under the board, so you can ride your bike comfortably.<\/p>\n<p>In the past, I&#8217;ve used the <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.live\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=wald+137+basket\">Wald 137<\/a>, possibly the most standard basket from our selection,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-176953\" src=\"https:\/\/bluelug.live\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/60C14B1B-26F6-4845-9337-CEBD0AB1C23B-960x1280.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"1280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bluelug.live\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/60C14B1B-26F6-4845-9337-CEBD0AB1C23B-960x1280.jpg 960w, https:\/\/bluelug.live\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/60C14B1B-26F6-4845-9337-CEBD0AB1C23B-576x768.jpg 576w, https:\/\/bluelug.live\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/60C14B1B-26F6-4845-9337-CEBD0AB1C23B.jpg 1248w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and the<a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.live\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=wald+139+half\"> Wald 139 Half<\/a>, which is a basket bigger than the 137, but has the upper half chopped.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-176958\" src=\"https:\/\/bluelug.live\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/CBC75A31-79B9-4FA8-B850-8FAE4F5E0891.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"658\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I personally thought the 137 was better. The reason is that the two trucks fit snugly into the two edges of the basket. (Depending on the deck&#8217;s wheelbase)<\/p>\n<p>As for the 139 Half, I had to put the grip tape side down to load it, causing the basket to leave marks on the grip tape, which was a bit annoying to me.<\/p>\n<p>And you would need some sort of strap on cord to fix the skateboard on the basket.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-176959\" src=\"https:\/\/bluelug.live\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/dsc9142.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bluelug.live\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/dsc9142.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bluelug.live\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/dsc9142-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My personal favorite is the <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.live\/blue-lug-flat-bungee-yellow.html\"><span class=\"base\" data-ui-id=\"page-title-wrapper\">*BLUE LUG* flat bungee<\/span><\/a>. They&#8217;re tough and hard to tear from rubbing against the grip tape and holds the board firmly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.live\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=blue+lug+cargo+net\"><span class=\"base\" data-ui-id=\"page-title-wrapper\">*BLUE LUG* cargo net<\/span><\/a> is also one of the options, but these tend to tear easily than the flat bungee when rubbed on grip
