This Appaloosa has a seatpost diameter of 26.8 mm. Surprisingly few manufacturers offer this size.
Thomson seatposts are commonly used on MTBs and track bikes, but I personally think they also look surprisingly well with Riv frames.
I’d be happy if you kept this in mind as one of an option. By the way, since Rivendell frames come with a stock seatpost, customizing this part often ends up being just a personal indulgence.
